As a drum major in school and a lifelong performer, Mason Case has been commanding dance floors and electrifying audiences for over a decade. Serving a diverse clientele primarily in the Private Event, Corporate Event, and VIP Event space, Mason showcases his talents as a fun, eclectic personality who can captivate everyone from global celebrities to local taste-makers.
Mason has had the pleasure of collaborating with numerous high-profile clients, contributing his unique flair to events organized by some of the most influential names in the industry. With over 1,000 events under his belt and more than ten years of experience, Mason brings an energetic, groovy, and friendly approach to the DJ scene. He places a strong emphasis on customization, experience, and style, ensuring that each event is uniquely memorable.
A co-founder and creative advisor for Higher Ground Entertainment, Mason has carved out a space for himself on the West Coast, and more recently in the Pacific Northwest. Give him a crowd, a microphone, and the freedom to do his thing, and he will redefine your understanding of what an event DJ can be.
Growing up in a music-loving household where his father was also a DJ, Mason was drawn to the arts from a young age. A theater and drama enthusiast in high school, Mason later spent over a decade performing private events for Denon & Doyle, refining his skills and clocking his 10,000 hours. But Mason's talents extend beyond the turntable—he's also a barber by trade, live music connoisseur, and oh yes…did we mention he can play the banjo?
Mason has always been passionate about incorporating technology into his performances. Before co-founding Higher Ground Entertainment, Mason honed his craft by performing at various venues and attending music production courses. He brings a unique blend of experience and creativity to his work, making him a beloved figure in the industry.
Based in Portland but available for events worldwide, Mason and the team at Higher Ground Entertainment are thrilled to call the Pacific Northwest their new home.

"Mason gets 5 stars on all accounts! We had a major snafu with the venue A/V and Mason was Johnny on the spot. The technology at the Redd was broken to play our video and slide show. Mason found a friend that had a projector to play the video. We couldn't play the slide show but at least the video was played which was really important to us! The quality was ok but it was shown and no one knew the difference.
It was a scramble for Mason and he pulled through!"

"Mason did our wedding and we LOVED working with him. From the early planning stages to the last song at the reception, he was super on top of it, took all of our wishes seriously, AND offered incredible advice. This was very much appreciated because we were unsure about a lot of aspects of the wedding (not just music related) and he helped us nail down a lot of the details. The collaborative planning app was super easy to use. Plus, I was able to text him when random songs popped into my head that I thought might be good at the wedding. He checked in periodically during the reception to make sure the atmosphere was to our liking. Which of course it was and that is saying something considering we had several vibes throughout the day. He took us through a Viking celebration, flying with dragons, punk party, and euro pop extravaganza. Thank you so much for making our day everything we wanted it to be!"
